Professor Fei Zhuge
l Professor of Materials Physics and Chemistry in the Department of Functional Materials and Nano Devices
2 Leader, low-dimensional semiconductors group
He received the B.S. degree and the M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and the Ph.D. degree in Materials Physics and Chemistry from Zhejiang University in 2005. He then went to Hiroshima University as a JSPS (the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) research fellow where he did postdoctoral research. In 2008 Zhuge joined the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Professor Zhuge's research interest is focused on low-dimensional semiconductor materials and devices, including biomimetic neural synapses based on memristive devices (microelectronics), photocatalysis in environmental protection and solar fuel production (optoelectronics), and light diffusion/guide plates for LED lighting/display applications (optics).
