Institut Pasteur

Founded in 1887 and based in France, the Institut Pasteur is an international research and education institute that is committed to advancing science, medicine and public health. The Institut Pasteur is a private, non-profit foundation with recognized charitable status entrusted with four core missions of public interest – research, education, the health of populations and people, and innovation development and technology transfer.

The Institut Pasteur develops many major international projects in partnership with the main international scientific authorities such as the World Health Organization, and many research institutions, foundations, universities and other private actors worldwide. In addition, the Institut Pasteur is at the heart of the Pasteur Network, 33 members around the world linked by missions of research, public health and education.
