Before the Bangkok phase, a pre-heat event was organised by the Delphinus Lab in Shenzhen on 27 October 2024, where the MScAIBA and MScDS students learned more about the zkWASM technology, a virtual machine that supports Web Assembly, and built a simple on-chain zkWASM game from scratch. Sinka Gao, the founder of Delphinus Lab, explained their technical architecture, zkWASM SDK, and mini rollup framework, laying a solid foundation for Lingnan students’ subsequent participation in the hackathon.
"This is a clear testimony to Lingnan’s commitment to expediting digital transformation, and to Hong Kong’s rapid development of the Web3 ecosystem for the digital economy," said Prof Dong Chengzu.
