The UP Vargas Museum (UPVM) will host a lecture by Dr. Norma Respicio for the second time in line with the Woven Templates exhibit. The talk is scheduled on 21 April 2009 (Tuesday), 10:00 AM, at the Lobby of the Museum. Dr. Respicio’s discussion will focus on the active weaving centers of the Philippines and its current status, the history of weaving in the country and some of the weaving implements and processes used to create textiles with impressive designs and patterns.

Woven Templates will be on view at the UPVM until 3 May 2009.
