2011 International Symposium on Bioelectronics and Bioinformatics (ISBB), IEEE Nanotechnology Council
2011 International Symposium on Bioelectronics and Bioinformatics (ISBB2011) will be held in the great city of Suzhou, China on 3-5 November, 2011.
We all have witnessed the rapid development of bioelectronics as well as bioinformatics in the last decade. ISBB2011 will provide a forum for researchers, engineers, and research students to discuss and disseminate the latest research progresses in the areas of biomedical engineering, micro and nano electronics, e-health, bioinformatics, and bio-signal processing. It will encourage the cross-boundary communication and collaboration between scientists and engineers to develop state-of-the-art practical solutions for addressing real word biomedicine and health problems.
ISBB2011 is organized by Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology (SIBET), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and co-organized by Heterogeneous Integration Consortium (HIC), Ministry of Education, Taiwan. Following the success of the 2009 inaugural ISBB held in Melbourne, Australia, ISBB2011 will continue to provide a forum for active researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and research students to disseminate the latest research progresses in the areas of biomedical engineering, micro and nano electronics, advanced medical devices, e-health, bioinformatics, and bio-signal processing. The organizing committee sincerely hopes that this symposium will provide all participants a great opportunity to meet many outstanding scientists from around the world, share research experiences, make new friends, and develop new ideas and future collaboration.
ISBB2011 organizing committee invites interested parties to submit original unpublished technical research papers describing latest work in, but not limited to, the following areas:
Implantable Medical Electronics and VLSI IC Design for Biomedical Application
Bioinformatics and Biomedical Signal Processing
Biomedical Image and Image Processing
Bioinstrumentation: Sensors, Micro, Nano and Wearable Technologies
Bio-Robotics, Neuromuscular Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering
Therapeutics and Diagnostic Systems, Devices and Technologies
Biological Signal Processing and Data Mining
The conference will feature keynote lectures, paper presentations, poster presentations and panel discussions. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed. All accepted papers will be included in IEEE Xplore.
