Mhel Cedric D. Bendo

Mhel Cedric D. Bendo is a researcher and academic writer with a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines–Maragondon Campus. His research focuses on online and distance education, mobile and digital learning environments, artificial intelligence in education, educational psychology, curriculum studies, educational assessment, entrepreneurship, and financial technology (FinTech).

He serves on the editorial boards of the SIAR-Global Journal of Humanities, Management & Educational Review, the SIAR-Global Journal of Literatures & Educational Review, International Journal of Educational and Psychological Sciences (IJEPS), the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Exploration (IJMRE), and the International Journal of Advanced Multidisciplinary Application (IJAMA), the Journal of Education and Development Lab (JEDL), the Dan-ag: Journal of Educational Studies, and the Centre for Global Policy Research (CGPR). He previously served as a Technical Editor for the Journal of Student-Run Clinics (JSRC).

Bendo serves as an invited peer reviewer for more than 50 international and national peer-reviewed journals across educational psychology, educational assessment and measurement, educational technology, artificial intelligence in education, digital and online learning, learning sciences, language and literacy, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary research. His peer-review activities involve manuscript evaluation, methodological assessment, quantitative and statistical review, research-quality evaluation, and assessment of scholarly rigor and research integrity.

Beyond scholarly publishing, he has authored 17 research-informed commentaries, essays, and literary works as of June 2026. These writings focus on education, digital literacy, media and information literacy, public discourse, culture, and social development. His works have appeared in various regional and national Philippine newspapers, including Punto! Central Luzon, Daily Guardian, Mindanao Times, SunStar Cebu, BusinessMirror, Manila Bulletin, Young Blood of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, and the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
