TEMTIA12 – The 12th International Conference of the Epithelial–Mesenchymal Transition

TEMTIA12, the 12th International Conference of The EMT International Association, will be held on 13–16 November 2026 at the National Taiwan University Cancer Center in Taipei. The meeting brings together scientists, clinicians and industry innovators to advance epithelial–mesenchymal transition research from fundamental discovery to clinical translation.
TEMTIA12, the 12th International Conference of The EMT International Association (TEMTIA), will take place from 13 to 16 November 2026 at the National Taiwan University Cancer Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
Over four days, the program will feature thematic sessions on mechanobiology, spatial biology, computational and systems biology, EMT in development, epigenetics in stem cells and organoids, mitochondria and metabolism, and preclinical and clinical oncology.
More than 30 invited speakers and discussants from Asia, Australia, Europe and North America will lead the sessions and guide in-depth discussions. The meeting will also feature the Betty Hay Award, recognizing an outstanding early-career female scientist in the EMT field.
"Progress in EMT research increasingly depends on our ability to move beyond individual disciplines and traditional boundaries," says Professor Ruby Yun-Ju Huang of National Taiwan University School of Medicine, convener of TEMTIA12 and Vice President of TEMTIA, reflecting the conference’s cross-disciplinary design.
Registration closes on 1 November 2026. Program and registration details: https://temtia12.ntu.edu.tw
