Principle
It’s a non-profit fair combining the government's impetus with market-oriented operation.
Main Events
The display, negotiation and trade on SMEs' products and technology. The enterprises home and abroad present their exhibits and demonstrate the characteristics of their products and technology. The goal of the event is to build up a platform of comprehensive services for SMEs, not to simply promote trade.
Senior Forum on SMEs. The government senior officials , well-known experts and scholars, and entrepreneurs and representatives from chambers of commerce and associations exchange their opinions on government's policies and measures of supporting SMEs, and reinforcement of the legal assurance of Sino-foreign SME cooperation, policy support, administration and services. They will share the information and deepen mutual understanding and achieve cooperation through the forum.
Project Promotion for SMEs. To organize promotions for SMEs who intent to trade, invest and achieve economic and technological cooperation through promotions and exchanging visits. The aim of the promotion is to successfully match project partners.
Financing Conference for SMEs. To invite related banks home and abroad, securities management organizations and risk capital investment organizations to discuss on the financial credit and guarantee of SMEs, and the development trend of SME investment and financing, and risk capital investment. The aim of the conference is to provide access for SMEs to financial information and financing channels.
Purchasing Introduction for SMEs. To invite big purchasing group home and abroad, the purchasing department of United Nations, the purchasing centers of local government and Central Government to introduce the requirements, methods, and procedures of procurement. To provide business opportunities and cooperation channels for SMEs.
Special Training for SMEs To organize training and lectures on national industry policies, macroeconomic situation, import and export policies, and the environmental protection standard of product quality and technology, etc.
Scale
With a space of 120,000 square meters, the fair is composed of 9 exhibition sections and some special sections, namely, Textile and Garments, Footwear and Hats/Caps and Bags/Cases, Toys and Crafts, Foodstuff and Medicine, Household Electric Appliances, Electronic Information, Machinery & Equipment, Furniture and Lamp/Light-fixture, Ceramics and Building Materials, Service Industry, and International Hong Kong Macau & Taiwan SMEs.
Exhibition Facility
Guangdong International Convention and Exhibition Center (China Export Commodities Fair Pazhou Complex) located by the Pearl River with beautiful landscapes and convenient traffic network around it, is at present the biggest, the most modernized and the top-class convention and exhibition center in Asia. It can easily cater to diversified exhibitions. It possesses a total indoor exhibiting area of 120,000 square meters, with approximately 10,000 square meters in each exhibition hall. For its logical design and huge poleless-interspace, the effect of special decoration can be significantly magnificent and several exhibitions can be held at the same time without mutual disturbance.
