Lingnan University ranks third globally for ‘Quality Education’ in THE Impact Rankings 2021

Lingnan University in Hong Kong (LU) is ranked third in the world for “Quality Education” at the latest Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021 released today (21 April).

“Our remarkable result for ‘Quality Education’ demonstrates that our success in providing quality education and outstanding learning experience to students is well recognised and appreciated by the international community. I would like to thank all colleagues for their concerted efforts in making Lingnan one of the top liberal arts universities in the region,” Lingnan University President Prof Leonard K Cheng said as he welcomed the results. “We will continue to strive for academic excellence and aspire to develop students to their full potential.”

 

The Rankings assess the social impact of universities in the world based on Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. This year there were more than 1,200 participating institutions from 96 countries and regions, which represented a nearly 60-per-cent increase from last year.
