Ts Mohamed Syazwan Osman

Ts Mohamed Syazwan Osman currently is a senior lecturer at Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Cawangan Pulau Pinang. he began his career as Process Engineer (R&D) at Intel Technology Sdn Bhd, Penang for 3 years before joining UiTM for the past 12 years. Professionally, He is a professional technologist with MBOT, professional member of Institute of Materials, Malaysia (IMM) and Associate member of Institute of Chemical engineers (IChemE), UK. He is also a certified trainer registered with Human Resource development Fund (HRDF) and visiting research fellow with Center of Excellence Geopolymer & Green Technology (CeGeotech), UNIMAP. Currently, His research interests are in nanoparticles, herbal extraction, product development and artificial neural networks (ANN). Moreover, He is passionate about innovation and creativity activities, especially grooming the younger generation to be creative and entrepreneurial. To date, he has already won 85 medals in innovation competitions locally and internationally with his students. He also registered several intellectual properties (IPs) and commercialized several products in collaboration with industries. Currently he is head of laboratory of Nanoparticles Colloids and Interface Industrial Research Laboratory a joint lab collaboration with EMZI Holding Sdn Bhd.
