Ts. Dr. Nurul Fariha Lokman

Dr. Fariha is a Senior Lecturer and a Civil Engineer at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. In 2009, she earned a JENESYS-scholarship and further Msc at Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan. Her honors pHD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in year 2016 was about detection of Pb-metals in water using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) sensors system. Currently, she is actively conducting research on Kenaf-sorb beads originating from kenaf core for adsorption of heavy metals in aqueous solution. Kenaf plant is abundant in Malaysia and high potential for marketing especially for wastewater treatment at the factory’s effluent point.
