UPM Wins Case Writing Competition

Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emerged first and second runner up in the National Writing Case Competition that carries the theme, Case Writing in Action : Dynamics Of Case Method.

KUALA LUMPUR, 4 Nov – Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) emerged first and second runner up in the National Writing Case Competition that carries the theme, Case Writing in Action : Dynamics Of Case Method.

Dr. Tee Keng Kok from the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEP), Yaacob Ibrahim and Dr Ho Jo Ann from the Graduate School of Management (GSM), bagged the first runner up spot with their case writing, Powerforce Malaysia : Managing Organizational Dynamic.

In addition, the second runner up went to lecturers from FEP, Dr. Dahlia Zawawi and Juliana Johani, with their writings, The Clock is Ticking and Dr. Mohd Fuaad Said with, Kayla (Iran) Pte.Ltd : Developing A Strategy.

The competition was organized by Case Writer’s Association of Malaysia (CWAM) in collaboration with GSM, UPM and Open University Malaysia (OUM).
CWAM put to contest stimulating case writing in general fields such as accounting and management to incorporate learning process and creative writing as well as self-practice in making sound decision in the future.
