RIKEN Omics Science Center is currently seeking a Unit Leader

TITLE:
Unit Leader

JOB DESCRIPTION
①Unification, management and promotion of the research activities described in our laboratory outline.
②Development, improvement and application of analysis technologies, such as for the transcription control network, gene expression and gene expression control.
③Technology development of standardization and quality control technology for above mentioned analysis technologies.
④Planning and administration in order to spread the above mentioned technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
①A Ph.D. degree in a related field of expertise (physical science, medical science, molecular biology, cytobiology, etc.).
②Must have the experience and achievements stated in our laboratory outline as well as possess team management and research promotion skills.
③Have a profound knowledge in molecular biology of the nucleic acid, especially is knowledgeable for Technique about the gene expression analysis.
④Has experience and abilities in technology development, technology advancement, technology standardization, making standard procedure books, and quality control.
⑤Has experience leading a team and carrying out manufacturing or production.

LOCATION
RIKEN Yokohama Institute, 1-7-22 Suehiro-cho, Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama-shi, 230-0045, Japan

SALARY
Salary is determined annually on the basis of employee experience, abilities and research results. Commuting and housing allowances will be provided and social insurance applies (health insurance, pension insurance, worker's accident compensation insurance, unemployment insurance, etc.).

HOLIDAYS
Saturdays and Sundays, Japanese National Holidays, year-end and New Year (Dec.29-Jan.3), summer holidays and RIKEN Foundation Day (4th Monday in October).
