The 10th Pacific Rim International Workshop on Multi-Agents

Bangkok, Thailand - PRIMA is a series of workshops on autonomous agents and multi-agents integrating the activities in Asia Pacific countries.

PRIMA is a series of workshops on autonomous agents and multi-agents integrating the activities in Asia Pacific countries. The emergence of the agent paradigm is an exciting development in Computer Science and Information Technology and the paradigm is expected to play a central role during the coming years in the development of complex distributed systems and networked systems impacting a wide variety of endeavors in our civilization. PRIMA07 will build on the great successes of its predecessors PRIMA2006 held in Guilin, China, PRIMA2005 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, PRIMA2004 in Auckland, New Zealand, PRIMA2003 in Seoul, Korea, PRIMA2002 in Tokyo, Japan, PRIMA2001 in Taipei, Taiwan, PRIMA2000 in Melbourne, Australia, PRIMA'99 in Kyoto, Japan, and PRIMA'98 in Singapore.

The workshop endeavors to bring together researchers, developers, and academe and industry leaders, active and interested in Agents and Multi-Agent Systems, their applications and related areas. The workshop offers exceptional opportunities for presentation of original work, technological advances, practical problems and concerns of the research community. PRIMA workshop proceedings are published in the form of a volume in the Springer Lecture Notes in AI series. The workshop will also feature a doctoral mentoring program which is focused on supporting the doctoral students with their research by providing them peer support. The senior and distinguished researchers attending the workshop are expected to be available for interaction with the young and promising researchers.

The location of Bangkok, together with the infrastructure therein, offers easy access from across the world and especially from the Asia Pacific region. The tourist attractions of Thailand and the friendly people of Thailand known for their hospitality create an excellent setting and background for the workshop. Rangsit University has accepted to host the event in their new and vibrant campus in the Northern suburb of Bangkok.
