Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE) 2025 will return from October 16–18 at Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1, uniting government, academia, and industry under the theme “Cross-Domain AI Innovation: Driving the Future with Intelligence.” The event will feature 450 exhibitors presenting nearly 1,100 patented technologies, highlighting Taiwan’s role as a key driver of global innovation.

With global AI spending projected by IDC to reach USD 227 billion in 2025 and surpass USD 19.9 trillion by 2030, the rise of the AI economy is unstoppable. Taiwan, as a global semiconductor powerhouse, provides the foundation for this transformation. Echoing President’s vision of Taiwan’s five “trust industries”—semiconductors, AI, defense, cybersecurity, and next-generation communications—TIE 2025 places AI at the forefront of industrial and societal advancement.
 

Highlights at TIE 2025 

  • Invention Competition Area: Over 500 entries from Taiwan and abroad, including delegations from Korea and Thailand, will compete for the prestigious Platinum Award. Submissions span semiconductors, ICT, cybersecurity, healthcare, and more—with strong integration of AI across daily life and high-tech applications. 
  • Innovation Economy Pavilion: Featuring “AI Ecosystem: Empowering All Industries”, this pavilion demonstrates AI’s impact on semiconductors, cybersecurity, communications, manufacturing, and green sustainability. 
  • Future Tech Pavilion: Showcasing 200 breakthrough R&D results across biomedicine, quantum technology, robotics, green energy, and semiconductors, with four interactive zones designed for visitor engagement. 
  • Sustainability Pavilion: Under the theme “Resilient Innovation for a Sustainable Future,” the pavilion highlights hundred technologies in smart innovation, resilience empowerment, and circular sustainability, offering solutions for food security, defense, and resource recycling.
