Since its founding by the Parliament of Canada nearly 40 years ago, IDRC has acted as a “knowledge bridge” between Canada and the developing world. Independently and in partnership, including many partnerships with Canadian universities and agencies such as the Canadian International Development Agency, IDRC has worked with researchers from the developing world in their search for the means to build healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous societies. Recent examples of IDRC-supported research and its impact can be found in this two-CD set.
