FRIM received a visit from senior officers of Nestle Products Sdn Bhd on 19 February 2010
The delegation was met by the Director General of FRIM, YBhg. Dato' Dr. Abd Latif Mohmod. The Nestle delegation, led by the Managing Director, Mr Peter Voght also included four other from their top management.
The objective of the visit is to know more about FRIM’s R&D activities in medicinal plants as well as to explore opportunity to work together on nutritional, health and wellness projects.
The briefing was presented by Dr. Rasadah Mat Ali, the Director of Medicinal Plant Division. Prior to the briefing, the delegates were brought to the Ethno botanic Garden as well as the Herbal Technology Centre by officers from the Commercialisation & Innovation Division.
