Stronger academic tie between universities in Hong Kong and Mainland China
A 15-member delegation from Zhejiang University, led by Party Secretary Mr Jin Deshui and University Development Committee Chairman Mr Zhang Junsheng, recently visited PolyU. The two universities have signed two collaboration agreements to further strengthen cooperation and academic exchanges.
Both parties will seek to provide more opportunities for their scholars to take part in exchange activities so as to promote technology transfer and business cooperation. They will also strengthen the existing joint master programme in hotel and tourism, and prepare to apply for offering a doctoral programme in tourism management in Hangzhou.
