"Going Beyond Research: Translating Research into Advocacy" is an online exploration of how storytelling and advocacy can bridge the gap between data and decision-making. Featuring health policy advocate Hazel Ivy Jeremias and science communicator Timothy James Dimacali, the event will focus on the crucial role of communication in bringing medical discoveries to the wider public, ensuring that vital health research does not remain in journals but transforms into policies, programs, and everyday understanding.
This FREE online event will be held on October 8, 2025 (Wednesday), at 2PM. Hosted by the Ateneo Center for Research and Innovation (ACRI), together with the Ateneo Office of the Assistant Vice President for Research, Creative Work and Innovation (OAVP-RCWI), the Philippine Society for Public Health Physicians (PSPHP), and Science Communicators Philippines (SciCommPH).
