On 22nd of January, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) signed an agreement with the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT) to launch the "Mathematics Challenge for Young Australians" (MCYA) in Hong Kong.

The topic of the 4th regional workshop of the CATALYST Project taking place at the UN Conference Centre, Bangkok, Thailand, 23-25 January 2013, is capacity development for disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation in South and Southeast Asia.

(Ottawa, October 3, 2012) – Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) today signed an agreement to invest up to $12.5 million in the International Partnerships for Sustainable Societies (IPaSS).
