Singapore's National Metrology Centre celebrates World Metrology Day, “Measurements in Daily Life”

Kazuaki Sawada from Toyohashi Tech was awarded the FY2013 Science and Technology Award [Research Division] by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

IOP Publishing (IOP) announced a new three year agreement with the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) for the continued publication of the open access title Science and Technology of Advanced Materials (STAM).

(Ottawa, October 3, 2012) – Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) today signed an agreement to invest up to $12.5 million in the International Partnerships for Sustainable Societies (IPaSS).

Organised by the Electronics-Inspired Interdisciplinary Research Institute (EIIRIS) at Toyohashi University of Technology, The Irago Conference aims to enhance mutual understanding between scientists, engineers, policy makers, and experts from a wide spectrum of pure and applied sciences in order to resolve major global issues.
