A University of Malaya’s researcher, Professor Dato’ Dr. Wang Chew Yin has received an international recognition when her two research articles have recently been published in well-known journal, the New England Journal of Medicine with an impact factor of 51.658.

Revamped Site Offers New Focus, New Tools for Science in the Developing World

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) conferred the honorary title of University Fellowship upon eight outstanding individuals to pay tribute to their significant contributions to the University and the community.

Is charity altruistic or egoistically motivated? Are there ethical and unethical religious giving? Is there anything specifically ‘Asian’ about particular conceptions of ethical giving? What are our alternatives to thinking through such issues beyond simple dichotomies?

Each year the Academy awards eight prizes of USD15,000 each to individual scientists who have been working and living in a developing country for at least ten years.
