□ Celebrating the end of the year, DGIST (President Kunwoo Lee) is promoting a warm community spirit through various sharing activities, including ▲Briquette Sharing Volunteer Service, ▲Bread Sharing Volunteer Service, and ▲Fruit of Love Fundraising.
□ On November 26, DGIST hosted the ‘2025 Briquette Sharing’ event and donated about 5,000 briquettes, along with KRW 4,400,000 raised through participation by volunteers. Of these, 1,800 briquettes were delivered to six households facing heating insecurity in Dong-gu, Daegu. Forty-seven faculty, undergraduate, and graduate students personally delivered the briquettes over approximately three hours, elevating the spirit of sharing.
□ On December 5, 19 DGIST members baked and delivered over 500 loaves of bread to local senior and children's welfare facilities through a volunteer program called ‘Bread of Love Sharing.’
□ DGIST also donated a total of KRW 4,120,000, raised through participation fees from school events like the ‘Meadow Concert’ and ‘D-RUNNER,’ to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea (Fruit of Love). This donation will be used to support welfare efforts in the local community.
□ President Kunwoo Lee said, "All members participated together and practiced the value of sharing to add greater meaning to social contribution. As an institution that grows together with the local community, we will continue to engage in various social contribution activities."
