USM has maintained its lifelong-learning programme when it admitted more than 2000 students, including senior citizens over 70 years of age, and also those with special needs.
More than 2 000 first year students for the Bachelor’s Degree at the Distance Learning (PJJ) Progamme for the Academic Session 2009/2010 will be officially inducted as members of the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM campus community in an Oath-Taking Ceremony to be held on Wednesday, 3 June 2009 at 10.00am at Dewan Tuanku Syed Putra (DTSP) USM, Penang.
