Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation Sdn. Bhd. had organised a visit for a delegation comprising 25 entrepreneurs and scientists from Korea led by the Korean Research Institute in Biotechnology and Biosciences (KRIBB) to the Forest Research Institute Malaysia on 8 July 2009
The delegation headed by BiotechCorp Chief Operating Officer Dr Wan Abdul Rahaman Wan Yaacob, was greeted by the Deputy Director General (Research) of FRIM, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Dr Abdul Rashid Abd Malik.
The programme started with a briefing on FRIM by Dato’ Dr Abdul Rashid, followed by a question and answer session between FRIM researchers and members of the KRIBB delegation.
The visit aimed to provide a platform for exploration of potential collaborations in the fields of biotechnology and biosciences between the two parties.
