The Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) has launched a new logo to mark its silver jubilee celebrations this year.
The logo consists of the numeral “25” reflecting the age of the Institute and “1985–2010”, the years since FRIM (which was founded in 1929 as Forest Research Institute) became a statutory body under the governance of the Malaysian Forest Research and Development Board (MFRDB).
The colour green for “FRIM” symbolises the forest in pristine condition. The incomplete loop around “25” reflects the world of forestry and environment research and development that is still on-going.
