Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF) 2006
2006 marks the second time Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has participated in the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF). The exhibition was held for five days from the 7th until the 11th of December 2006 at Seoul, Korea and the largest Bi-Annual Invention Fair in Asia.
SIIF 2006 presents a multitude of opportunities and a common platform for inventors and innovators from all over the world to promote their inventions and learn about the importance of intellectual property.
UiTM exhibited 11 research products/inventions and triumphantly won 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 7 bronze medals. The gold medal winners are Dr. Wong Tin Wui and Nurjaya Sumiran from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mr. Mohamad Faizul Yahya, Suzaini Abdul Ghani and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jamil Hj. Salleh from the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Mr. Hezri Fazalul Rahman and Nazmy Mahadzir from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
