Prof Leng Mingming, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Chair Professor of Operations and Risk Management of Lingnan University, has been invited to join the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) Board of Governors.
This prestigious appointment is a tribute to Prof Leng’s great expertise and vision in business education, and the Board’s role in providing strategic oversight to the Society alongside distinguished leaders from academia and industry around the world. BGS Board Chair Joyce Strawser, Ph.D. (Dean, Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University) announced that the society will welcome four new board members this term, each an innovative thought leader from the academic or corporate sector. Prof Leng will bring his knowledge of business education and ambitious plans for cultivating principled, forward-thinking leaders, who will contribute to BGS’s mission and international impact.

Lingnan University celebrates this significant milestone with Prof Leng and the Faculty of Business. The appointment builds on his recent recognition as BGS 2026 Dean of the Year, the first Chinese professor to receive this distinction, and confirms his continued guidance and influence in the business education community worldwide.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honour society for AACSB-accredited programs, founded in 1913 and headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Membership is highly selective and reserved for top students in business schools around the world.
