Call for papers - Theme: Realisation of Biodiversity Potentials Through Applied Biology

6-8 November 2008, Merdeka Palace Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia

This 2-day symposium is aimed at highlighting biological sciences research, providing a platform for scientists and professionals to present their projects, findings, ideas and inventions in any biological disciplines. It also offers a mechanism for the dissemination of information and networking pertaining to biological issues in line with the government’s vision of making Malaysia a knowledge-based nation.

Call for Paper:
The scientific programme will include plenary sessions, oral and posters presentation. The scope of the symposium includes the following components: Agricultural Sciences, Aquaculture, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Medical Sciences, Food Science, Microbiology, Environment, Biodiversity, Soil Science and other related fields.

Several eminent scientists from local and abroad will be invited to deliver plenary lectures.

Submission of Abstract: 31 July 2008
Submission of Extended Abstract: 31 August 2008
Early Registration Deadline: 31 July 2008

Registration Fees:
Members: RM 400
Non-members: RM 450
Student: RM 300
Foreign participant: USD 175

Registration fee covers seminar materials, tea break & lunches throughout the symposium.
